Well, tonight’s the night! SOME SORT OF SHOW is doing their big performance tonight at Bulls Nite Out on the Main Campus of the University of South Florida.
I’ve been thrilled to be a part of the group since last August and this is my return to the group since I left to go play Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street. It gave me a chance to realize just how much fun I have doing sketch comedy, and I plan to commit to doing SSoS regularly all season this year.
This show is also special because it marks my debut as a writer. I’ve written a sketch where I’ll appear as the beloved children’s character, Bob The Builder… but in a different sort of environment. Let’s just say it’s not the kinder, gentler side of PBS Kids.
The show is in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom, starting at 9 p.m. tonight, and best of all, it’s free. You do NOT need to be a student to attend! So come out, have a great time, get some free yuk-yuk-yuks, and come say hi!
And here’s some music to send you out on… (Only, don’t listen to it through more than once, or you’ll want to scoop out your eyeballs with a spork).
