The One About “Whatcha Doin…”

I’m not posting, I’m writing… which is both good and bad.

Progress updates:
– TRIANGLE: Editor has the manuscript. Cover artist is working away. He’s complaining a bit about how complicated the Hotel Del Coronado is, and that I should blow up something less complicated next time. I’ll consider it.

More to come in a separate post.

– WDFAF Project: I’ve made preliminary contact with a dozen individuals through Facebook and LinkedIn and am scheduling interviews. I am also hitting the archives at the Orlando Sentinel for news articles about the studio as it was built and operated. I have an idea for the structure, but it depends on cooperation from the folks at Disney. I’ve been told to expect a call from them soon.

– KP Project: I have a couple of people who have agreed to speak, but scheduling has been problematic. The rest of my inquiries…it appears persistence and patience will be virtues.

– TAO: Passed Day 300, less than 65 days left until the year completion. After that… unknown. The symmetry of walking away at a year is understandable. Consider the audience for this is miniscule in the scheme of things (460 followers on Twitter, 470 on Tumblr, and less than 400 on Facebook; many of those overlap). Yet, if I help anybody, does it make it worthwhile? I have two months left to decide. I already know what the post on the last day of the year will be – something that won’t make sense at first, and then make perfect sense, once you think about it. In other words, perfectly Zen.

I have a half-dozen other writing ideas. It’s a matter of staying focused. One thing at a time.
