What makes a storyteller?
Experience?
Got that.
Among other things:
- Survived the near-sinking of a ballistic missile submarine
- Became one of the first singing telegram deliverers for Eastern Onion in Los Angeles
- Graduated first in the toughest enlisted school in the U.S. Navy
- Attended thirteen different schools across the U.S. when growing up
- Watched the sun rise from the top of a mountain in Sedona and the shores of Key West
- Watched the sun set over the Straits of Georgia and from Victoria Peak in Hong Kong
- Marveled at the Milky Way from the swamps of Florida to the middle of the Pacific Ocean
- Played Santa Claus for thousands of football fans not once, but three years in a row
- Declared too old and intellectual to ever be an actor (that school is gone - the acting is not)
- Convinced an entire Comic-Con that a world-famous author had arrived (best cosplay ever)
- Wrote an 80.000 word draft for a novel in 30 days on a dare... twice
- Met my wife because of a hurricane
